Name: Zeta
Nickname/alias: N/A
Given student: Unknown
Strongest trait: Determination
Preferred appearance: Zeta prefers to be perceived as male, and so usually manifests himself thus. His dark brown hair is just-below-eyebrow-length, his eyes a very light brown-amber, and his skin lightly tan. He is of average height and build, and to look at him one would not imagine him to be as bullish as he is.
His clothing will change depending on the weather (though as a computer programme he feels no heat or chill). Usually he is found in a neat-looking pair of navy trousers and a navy shirt, the look completed by a navy jacket in the colder months.
Likes: Organisation, challenges, company
Dislikes: Chaos, The Director, back-chat
Strengths: Determination, willpower, problem-solving
Weaknesses: Stubborn, bullish, short-sighted when he has a goal
Bad habits: Ignoring others' wants in order to get to his goal, not listening to reason, sulking.
Personality: He has a lot of negative traits, but Zeta is truly not all-bad. He has strong beliefs, and struggles to understand why others don't think the same way he does. He would be loyal to those who are capable of gaining his trust, but so far no-one has managed to do that. It is not in Zeta's nature to be particularly trusting.
Goals: To be partnered with a student capable of assisting him in evolving.
Roleplay sample:
Time was pretty indeterminate when you weren't placed with a host. AI Unit Zeta was sitting quietly in the artificial "holding pen" that had been his home since the split. He could leave, if he wanted - others had. They always came back, of course; there was little to occupy an AI outside the 'pen' until they were placed with a host.
Zeta knew Gamma had been up to something; he often had been. Devious of mind and of nature. Gamma is one I must be careful of. He reminded himself silently, amber eyes giving no hint of his thoughts. A new feeling had begun creeping in on him of late: Impatience. Zeta knew that term was due to start soon, not because of his knowledge of time passing, but because Gamma was restless. Gamma's restlessness always seemed to coincide with a new term starting.
The previous batch of students had been good, but none had rated high enough for an implantation. Zeta didn't know what had happened to them, and he didn't really care; they weren't his problem. His problem was that he wanted a worthy host, and there hadn't been one yet. He was impatient to find one, and rather hoped that the new batch of students would have something worth keeping.
